RVA Theatre Alliance

Formerly known as RAPT, the RVA Theatre Alliance raises awareness and support for Richmond's professional theatre community.

Recently the RVA Theatre Alliance launched their new website where you can go to learn about the alliance as well as member theaters.

Among the the things the RVA Theatre Alliance does:

The Theatre Artist Fund

The Richmond Theatre Artist Fund was created to assist members of the theatre community in times of extreme need. Through the Allliance the theatre community reaches out to those facing illness, injury or other severe life events.

RVA Theatre Card

Those who work with member companies may apply for the RVA Theatre card which offers discount ticket prices to member theatre productions. (the discount price is set by each company)

Members may also participate in the skills registry which may be accesssed by companies, directors or producers for casting, employment or audition calls.

RVA Theatre Stickers

It seems that every group in town has their own version of the RVA sticker. The RVA Theatre Alliance sticker is available for purchase adn resale. Proceeds go to the Theatre Artists Fund.
