Fans of the 'Bachelor' will have an added treat on Monday Feb 11 when he takes his group for one-on-one dates to St Croix, in the US Virgin Islands. With it's white sandy beaches, clear azure waters, charming Caribbean towns, 18th century architectral treasures and luxury resort hotels, it is the perfect place for a romantic get-a-way.
Christiansted is one of two towns located between the busy seaport and the green hillside, and was the capital of the Danish West Indies from 1755 to 1871. The one-square mile town is known for it's historic yellow buildings, it's Danish architecture, cobblestone streets, old churches and the old fort "Christiansvaen as well as hotels, restaurants and places to visit.
As you watch the Bachelor on Feb 11 you can enjoy along with him the "Festival of masqueraders and mocko jumbie stilt dancers" colorful stilt-walkers who perform at parades and festivals to the beat of soca music and witness with him and his group a romantic sunrise on the island.
