The Hotel Brion in Paris goes back to the 1700s and the house and gardens now hold 300 sculptures and other works by Auguste Rodin (1840 - 1917). Rodin rented four rooms here in 1908 for his studios. He shared the house with writer Jean Cocteau, painter Henri Matisse, and dancer Isadora Duncan. In 1911, Rodin took over the entire house.
Today, it is a museum showcasing his art and the art of his contemporaries in the house and garden.
