Ringing in the New Year is often celebrated with plenty of food and alcohol. Then, everyone wakes up the next day and decides they are turning over a new fitness and exercise leaf. Many people make fitness resolutions for the New Year. This is a great resolution, as long as it is made realistic.
If you make your expectations too high or unrealistic, it can be very discouraging when you don’t get the results you expect. Lacking results often means resolutions get thrown by the wayside.
Make a fitness resolution that is reasonable for 2014. View the photo list for a few ideas. A good place to start, is to throw the word “diet” out of your vocabulary. Focus on lifestyle changes; not dieting in 2014. Get started with your new resolutions!
