Ravens’ Cheerleader claims she was cut from Super Bowl squad for weight gain

Amid all the hoopla surrounding Super Bowl XLVII is a human interest controversy surrounding the beautiful and sexy 23-year-old Baltimore Ravens' cheerleader, Courtney Lenz, who claims she was cut from the Baltimore Ravens’ Super Bowl cheerleading squad for gaining 1.6 pounds.

Courtney had also announced previously that she’d be retiring from cheerleading at the end of the regular season this year, which also might have had something to do with the Ravens’ decision not to include her on the Super Bowl squad.

According to the Ravens’ front office, the team is only allowed to bring 32 cheerleaders out of the 60 members of the squad.

“Our selection process was based upon three criteria: seniority, performance ability and personal conduct throughout the season,” spokeswoman Heather Harness said.

A graduate of Towson University in Md., the lovely Courtney Lenz has been with the Ravens’ cheerleaders for five years, ever since she was 18.
