While their coffee has been being roasted on-site for several months, the event space and cafe has just opened to the public. You’ll find a menu of premium coffee drinks along with Red Bicycle artisan toasts topped with everything from avocado to Amour Spreads.
Publik means “community” in Dutch and it’s this identity that has informed the space. Reclaimed woods, recycled doors, wide windows and wifi make Publik a great place to linger over work, mingle with friends or enjoy the sunshine on a quiet afternoon. A place where one can go to expand their community or commune with themselves.
This is the essence of Publik.
“We believe in quality over quantity, community over corporate, planet over profit and sweating the small and the big stuff. We roast, grind, brew and repeat. We sip, slurp, spit and scrutinize. Our drive to serve the flawless cup of coffee is all consuming and we've been known to blur the fine line between aficionados and addicts. We're humbled by the love and passion of the coffee farmer. We're inspired by the craft and the quality of the coffee pioneers who came before us. We're emboldened by the artisanship of devoted roasters and baristas among us. We chose the name Publik because it means community. We believe that coffee breeds community and coffee houses are the anchors that ground them. “
Various event spaces are available for rental, from cozy conference rooms to open expanses.
