With the conclusion of three of the winter's biggest rodeos--the San Angelo Rodeo, San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo and La Fiesta de los Vaqueros (the Tucson Rodeo)--the world standings in professional rodeo underwent some changes for the final week of February. With the big winter rodeo season winding down, the standings are likely to remain unchanged for several weeks until the conclusion of RodeoAustin in mid-March.
The new leaders this week are: Trevor Brazile (all around); Kaycee Field (bareback riding); Tommy Zuniga (team roping, heeling); Sterling Smith (tie down roping); and Josh Koschel (bull riding). Casey Martin (steer wrestling), Landon McClaugherty (team roping, heading), Cody Wright (saddle bronc riding) and Jane Melby (WPRA barrel racing) held their leads into March.
