Kate Middleton and Prince William have been named the most inspiring couple of 2013. The royal couple beat out some other high-profile celebrity couples to grab the title. "This year’s listing reveals that Britons are looking up to established couples in a solid relationship as role modes, for inspiration to enhance their romantic relationship," a spokesperson for Travelodge, which conducted the survey of 2,000 British travels, said in a statement Friday.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were joined on the list of Top 10 Inspiring Couples with some familiar faces. "It’s the first time we have seen three generations of royal couples make the top ten listing of most inspiring romantic couples," Travelodge said. Queen Elizabeth and Prince Phillip, along with Prince Charles and The Duchess of Cornwall, were also on the list.
