Prepositions can have proper placement in Chicago art sentences

This is a triptych of Chicago's, famous Buckingham Fountain. In 1927, Kate Buckingham commissioned this fountain's construction to honor her brother Clarence. A fountain at Versailles, France is the basis for this fountains design. In late spring, Chicago maintenance workers turn on the water. At night during the summer and autumn, color lights make the water sparkle and glow.These buttons are sports memorabilia/collectibles honoring the 1985 Chicago Bears. In that year, the Chicago Bears became the NFL's, NFC Champions, and they won the Super Bowl. Very rarely will any adult go an entire day without using prepositions when speaking. (This is in reference to the English language.) When writing about Chicago art, proper placement of prepositions will improve sentences’ structures.

To properly place prepositions when referring to Chicago art, speakers and writers should consider whether the art is atop, next to or under other art. Some framed photos may be aboard boats, inadequately attached to bulkheads where they could fall into Lake Michigan during strong windstorms. Rather than placing artistic, marine photos on boats where they are subject to Mother Nature’s caprices, boaters should keep these artworks on land inside stable buildings.

  • Along Chicago's South Shore Drive near 69the Street an the lakefront, these signs warn pedestrians not to dive or swim in Lake Michigan. In this area are many, jagged boulders and the water depth is shallow. These signs are in the Symbolism Style.
  • This metallic bench is somewhat new; Chicago Park District, maintenance personnel installed it on Jackson Park Golf Course near the 18th hole. Its legs, back and seat consists of curvy, metallic bars. This bench probably has the Art Deco style.
