This Sunday, May 4th, marks the 35th annual Broad Street Run, arguably Philadelphia’s most popular race and the largest 10-mile race in the country. This year's race is expected to draw 40,000 runners from near and far. In fact, the race has grown so popular, that last year they instituted a lottery for registration for the first time ever.
The Broad Street Run has become a tradition for many in the running community, offering a different route than the other races in the city and featuring a mostly flat, even slightly downhill route.
