The Minneapolis police department has partnered with Minnesota Crime Stoppers to issue a press release regarding an armed robbery that took place in June.
On June 23rd, at around 10:00 p.m., a man robbed a woman at gunpoint on the 4200 block of Linden Hills Boulevard in Minneapolis.
This male suspect has a lean build and a black Mohawk. He has multiple tattoos. He was seen getting in and out of a dark sedan, along with a female accomplice.
Both suspects were caught on surveillance cameras inside a Super America on East Lake Street twenty minutes after the robbery occurred. The woman is described as white, in her early twenties with black shoulder length hair. She has a stocky build and was wearing a black tank top, jeans and flip-flop sandals.
The female accomplice used the victim’s stolen credit cards to purchase $300.00 of gift cards in this Super America.
Perhaps the most shocking aspect of this crime is that it occurred in the beautiful Linden Hills neighborhood. According to Trulia, (a website that examines various neighborhoods for realtors and home buyers,) Linden Hills was rated as “Excellent,” a five star neighborhood that was earned high scores for cleanliness and safety.
Police are asking Twin Cities residents to take a moment and look at the photos of two suspects in the case. If you think that you can identify either of these suspects, please call Sgt. Walter Carlson at 612-673-3856 and provide case number 13-199779.
