April 23, 2014 is Poem in Your Pocket Day. Each year one day during National Poetry Month is set aside for Poem in Your Pocket Day. This Thursday, write down a favorite poem on a piece of paper, and carry it around with you all day to share with friends and colleagues. Print out a number of copies of your favorite poem or a few lines of poetry on your business card, and hand them out to everyone you meet. Compose an original poem of your own, and share with those you meet throughout the day.
