Participate in spring break activities

Most Central Illinois schools will be on spring break during the weeks of March 25-29 or April 1-5. Many area organizations are offering special programs during break weeks to keep kids occupied on their time off of school, and homeschoolers will enjoy these activities, too. This list provides details on the day camps, classes and family programs being presented by six area organizations.

Even if your homeschooled students are not on break during the last week of March or the first week of April, consider participating in one of these programs. Kids will have opportunities for fun, education and physical fitness, and they'll also make new friends from their community.

Many of the activities require advance registration, and classes and camps are filling quickly, so make plans today for your children's participation. Check out this list now, so you don't miss out on the information you need for these exciting spring break opportunities.
