Paco Peña Flamenco Dance Company in Los Angeles Feb. 15-17

Paco Peña, who for over 45 years has taken Flamenco to enthusiasts around the world, will perform in the Los Angeles area Feb. 15 – 17. With him will be his Flamenco Dance Company, composed by Rafael Montilla and Paco Arriaga on guitars, Julio Alcocer on percussion, dancers Charo Espino and Daniela Tugues, and singers Cristina Pareja and Jose Angel Carmona.

Last year Peña was awarded the 2012 Kennedy Center Gold Medal for Fine Arts. His shows present the audience with the latest musical fashions and a panorama of the culture and the language of Spain.

Currently on a North American tour that will take him to several States and Canada, Peña will perform at the Cerritos Center for the Arts on Feb. 15, Cal State University Northridge on Feb. 16, and Citrus College in Glendora on Feb. 17.

Until Feb. 26 he will perform throughout California, visiting San Luis Obispo, Chico, Napa, San Rafael, Folsom, and Livermore. (See calendar below.)
