The 2013 college football season was perhaps the best the Pac-12 Conference has produced in quite some time. Whether they are the best league in the nation is a debatable subject but certainly the depth of quality teams was not bested this season by any other conference.
With that said, the Pac-12 produced nine bowl teams, the most the conference has ever earned. The Pac-12 has also seen more equality amongst the top and bottom than in years past, which hurt the league because they were only able to generate one BCS bowl. That may have to do with both the rest of the bowl system and nation not being quite ready for the Pac-12’s quality of depth; plus, with the fact the schools just beat the heck out of each other with no true bonafide powerhouses.
So here’s a quick look at each of the nine bowl game matchups listed in chronological order.
