Fall comes creeping slowly into Virginia, its palette of rich colors in waiting, ready to paint the leaves the myriad of hues we look forward to each year. The anticipation of cooler weather makes for an excitement felt down deep within, it's festival time in the Commonwealth again.

Virginia is home to a number of award-winning vineyards, creating wines that tickle and tempt the palates of connoisseurs all over the country, and many foreign countries. And with the birth of micro-breweries and the growth of their popularity in Richmond and in other cities around the state, it is only proper that these heady brews have their day in the sun, too.

Our festival tour will start the weekend of October 12-13 in Louisa, and in Fredericksburg. The following weekend, October 18-19, we'll visit Powhatan and Richmond. We will end our tour with the 2014 Virginia Wine Expo, a key event in Virginia, and a show you won't want to miss.
