This Thursday (September 12, 2013) marks the beginning of New York City' s Feast of San Gennaro in Little Italy. The 11 day event features rides, games, religious processions, and, of course, some of the best Italian food anywhere. As always be prepared for very large crowds and if you are planning to dine at a Little Italy restaurant during San Gennaro -- reservations are highly recommended.
Location - quoted from www.sangennaro.org
"The Feast runs along Mulberry Street, between Canal Street (on south) and Houston Street (on north). It takes place east to west on Grand Street, between Mott and Baxter Street, and east to west on Hester Street, between Mott and Baxter Streets."
