Nintendo announces new games during its ‘Nintendo Direct’ press conference

Today, during its “Nintendo Direct” press conference, Nintendo had a lot of new announcements to make. Nintendo has been using its “Nintendo Direct” broadcasts to present information regarding Nintendo content or Nintendo franchises to customers, such as information about games and consoles. In North America and Europe, it is presented by the president of Nintendo of America, Reggie Fils-Aime, and the president of Nintendo of Europe, Satoru Shibata.

They announced a deal today designed to encourage gamers into picking up a 3DS XL. Players who pick up the 3DS XL system and one of two games will be able to pick an additional game at no additional charge. The two games to choose from are “Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity” or “Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon”. After registering the games, players can then select a free copy of either “Super Mario 3D Land”, “Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask”, “Art Academy: Lessons for Everyone!”, “Star Fox 64 3D”, or “Freakyforms Deluxe: Your Creations, Alive!”
