Nintendo 2DS is $99 and get $20 credit with 'EA Sports UFC' this week

Despite it being Father’s Day, the game deals for the week of Sunday, June 15 are limited enough that a pair of major retailers aren’t even advertising any. Dads like gaming too so let’s look at the deals available for the PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360 and Nintendo 2DS. This includes deals on games like the soon to be released “EA Sports UFC.”

At Best Buy, you can find the Nintendo 2DS discounted $20 to $109.99. That’s actually not the best deal on the handheld this week though as Target below has it for $10 cheaper.

As for games, PS3 and Xbox 360 owners can get “Dark Souls II,” “South Park: The Stick of Truth,” “2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil,” “Rocksmith 2014 Edition” and “NASCAR ‘14” for $39.99 each. Meanwhile, “LEGO: The Hobbit” for both consoles is $29.99 but is $10 more for the PS4 and Xbox One versions.

Other game deals include discounts on PS3 exclusives like “The Last of Us” and “Gran Turismo 6.” Both games have been marked down to $29.99. The Xbox 360 exclusive “Halo 4: Game of the Year Edition” is also the same price.

Finally, “Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII” is the sole game in the My Best Buy Gamers Club and members can pick it up for $24.99. The Hauppauge HD PVR Rocket is also available for $109.99.

Kmart along with Toys R Us aren’t advertising game deals in-store but Kmart is running with a pair of deals. One is for the Xbox One and the other is for “EA Sports UFC.”

The retailer is advertising the Xbox One with Kinect at is regular $499.99 price but with a choice of a free game. The free option available include “Ryse: Son of Rome,” “Forza Motorsport 5,” “Madden NFL 25,” “Need for Speed: Rivals” and “NBA 2K14.”

Meanwhile, Shop Your Way Reward members (fee) can get $20 back in points with “EA Sports UFC” for the PS4 or Xbox One. The game will be releasing this Tuesday. “Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag” for the PS4 is also eligible for the $20 back as is the pre-order for “Destiny” on the PS4, PS3, Xbox One and Xbox 360.

Those thinking about picking up a Wii U can get the Mario and Luigi 32 GB Deluxe Bundle for $299.99 with $30 back in points.

Lastly, Target is advertising the Nintendo 2DS for $99.99, $30 off the regular price for the budget handheld. Non-advertised deals include “Call of Duty: Ghosts” at $24.99 for the PS3 and Xbox 360 and $39.99 for the PS4 and Xbox One.
