On Monday, the New York Giants frustration seemed to be boiling over after a humiliating loss to the Carolina Panthers. According to CBSsportsline.com, Eli Manning is not mad at Hakeem Nicks for making a statement, “I can’t throw the ball to myself.” Nicks didn’t record a catch in the loss, and the Giants looked lost overall. However, they aren’t the only NFC East team struggling. See the NFL power rankings on CBS Sports.
The NFC East as a whole has not been formidable thus far. The Dallas Cowboys are the only team with a winning record. In fact, their only loss was to an undefeated Kansas City Chiefs team. At this point, it looks like it’s the Cowboys division to lose.
The problem with the division is the lack of competitive fight in numerous games in the first month. While, Philadelphia has been playing with tenacity, the Redskins have been laughable on both sides of the ball. In similar fashion to the G-men, Washington could be out of it before October starts.
Here are your week 3 NFC East rankings. Week four looms large with four road games against the AFC West. As a whole, the division needs some breakout victories over the AFC West. Another week of thorough domination, and the NFC East will be looking at one playoff team this season.
