Reports say Detroit is in the mix to host Wrestle Mania in either 2015 or 2016. Wrestle Mania has taken place twice in Metro Detroit, back in 1987 and then 20 years later in 2007.

Tonight’s ‘Old School’ Monday Night Raw seems to be loaded with names as WWE Champion The Rock, Triple H, Road Dogg, Billy Gunn and Rick Flair (among others) are being advertised for the show. Some believe The Undertaker will make his television return tonight as well. The show will air on USA Network.

Speaking of The Undertaker, WWE wrote the following on that Facebook page over the weekend.

Will he or won’t he? The WWE Universe is still talking about The Undertaker’s recent return to the ring at a WWE Live Event in Texas. Will The Phenom defend his 20-0 streak at WrestleMania 29?

Wrestling News World.com is reporting that Detroit is in the running to land either Wrestle Mania 31 or 32 (in 2015 and 2016 respectively. Other cities that have a good shot according to the report include Orlando, Miami, Tampa and Atlanta. Detroit last hosted ‘Mania in 2007, which took place at Ford Field.
