New Year, new books to read (and review)

For Christmas this year, I received a bunch of books from my wife (mostly lives of the Saints). So I have decided to add books reviews to this column. They will not necessarily be reviews of new books, but they will definitely be about books Catholics should read (or should avoid, as the case may be).

For starters, I will list of books I intend to read and/or review this year. (Some are books I have already read recently that deserve a review.) Please let me know in the comments if there are any books about which you'd like me to post a review. (I will be reviewing a mix of fiction, autobiography, history, philosophy, etc., but please stick to books that are in some way related to the Catholic faith.)
