About a month ago a reader sent me a MelodySusie multi-function 4-in-1 electric (battery-powered) facial & body brush spa cleaning system (with 4 different cleaning heads) to try and write a review. Since I am a beauty care blogger, of course I agreed - but didn't think I'd have any resistance to it.
Not being one to use these kinds of skin care beauty devices I procrastinated and it sat in the box for several weeks. As well, (and a bit in my defense) I live in an RV so I just don't have room for anything that isn't beautiful or useful, much less in the restroom! When I did open the box, I took several photos and placed it in plain view so I'd use it.
I hesitated to try it for awhile because I just wasn't sure if I needed to use it - my skin doesn't really need this type of help - or at least I didn't think so.
However, eventually I had a light bulb moment (this is when you become aware) and realized I had some anti-cellulite cream (defining gel) that I had also put off trying. I grabbed that, and tried two of the four attachments of the MelodySusie facial & body machine to apply the gel to my thighs. I used the soft pad first, but wasn't sure how much it was soaking up the gel, so then I tried the roller massage part and think that attachment worked best. It was stimulating to the skin and actually felt good!
It's a beauty skin care appliance that's easy to handle and use! It's comes very nicely packaged. The only critique I have is that the user guide could be improved. (I'm a writer so I am picky. I always see typos and non-native English grammar always jumps off the page at me.)
You may not need a beauty appliance for your face, but perhaps there's skin on your arms, legs, or tummy that could use some toning. That's what I discovered. I am currently using it to apply the defining gel to my thighs, next it will be neck and tummy.
I don't know scientifically if these kinds of skin care appliances actually make skin absorb the lotions, creams, or gels any better but it's kinda fun and feels good and a lot of skin care appliances are on the market for some pretty hefty prices so I'll keep using it and post again in a week or so and let you know the results. Also, since the appliance does increase blood flow to the skin my guess is, that's what helps with the absorption. I have read where simply stroking the face using a massage lotion, oil, cream, or gel does aid in blood circulation (increasing it) which, promotes a healing response in the skin and provides a healthy glow. So perhaps this MelodySusie beauty appliance will help you more than the creams and lotions?
Also, I'm always looking for anything holistic for skin rejuvenation which, keeps people from going for costly plastic surgery or such. This skin care appliance may be just what you need!
Some things I've learned about the MelodySusie multi-function skin care appliance:
- It's a lot less costly, less expensive than other similar face and body machines
- Use it to clean / massage your face, throat, arms, tummy, legs (best used on non-hairy body parts)
- Provides you the ability to have a home facial, saving you the time and money of going to a spa or salon
- It's very easy to handle
- It's a pretty pink fuchsia color and comes with a cute case
- Great for teens, or your first skin machine to see if you like / will use
- Portable, battery powered
- Safety guaranteed
- Deep cleans your skin / pores
- Provides two speeds: Low and High
- Provides four cleaning heads: pumice type, soft brush, massage cream / lotion / gel applicator, and soft face sponge
