For the past 20 years, Neiman Marcus’ annual Art of Fashion campaign has acted as a dossier for the latest cutting-edge fashion from luxury brands.
Consider it the L.L. Bean catalog for the wealthy shopper.
This year, Neiman Marcus nabbed photo-og extraordinaire, Sarah Moon to capture the season’s 23 most exquisite fashion with her signature style of provocative photography.
“There’s soul to her work. She loves clothes,” said Creative Director Georgia Christensen. “And there’s a wonderful combination of modern and conventional. She’s shooting digital but then they’re physically moving the background.”
The campaign appears exclusively in Neiman Marcus’ September edition of its in-house publication, The Book.
Haute creations from Alexander McQueen, Stephen Webster, Dior, Burberry Prorsum, Lanvin Paris, Manolo Blahnik, The Row, Jil Sander, Chanel, Gucci, Valentino, Dolce & Gabbana, Akris, Charlotte Olympia, Carolina Herrera, Oscar de La Renta, Givenchy, Christian Louboutin, Giorgio Armani, Proenza Schuler, Azzedine Alaia and Tom Ford will also be featured.
A career solidifying move for any photographer--especially when pass participants included renowned photo-ogs Helmut Newton, Annie Leibovitz, Richard Avedon, Arthur Elgort, Lillian Bassman and Paolo Roversi.
