Celebrate National Aviation Day along with Orville Wright's Birthday at the Pima Air & Space Museum on August 19, 2013. Throughout the day there will be special activities including children's activities and cake in Flight Central. There will also two screenings of the movie Kitty Hawk: The Wright Brothers' Journey to Invention. All activities and screenings are including with paid or member admission to the museum.
Kitty Hawk: The Wright Brothers' Journey to Invention is a documentary that includes the voices of Neil Armstrong and John Glenn as Orville and Wilbur Wright. The documentary will be shown at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. The documentary is also available on DVD in the museum's store.
About the Pima Air & Space Museum: The museum is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with the last admittance being at 4pm. November through May admission is $9 for ages 7 to 12, $15.50 for adults ages 13 and up, and $12.75 for Pima County residents as well as Seniors, AAA, and military. The AMARG (Boneyard) tour is an extra $7.
