As we make our travels and rounds in and out of Nashville and the area, we are constantly checking out the rising gas prices in each area we visit, so we'll know where to get the cheapest gas. Okay, so we have one of the cars that does get good gas mileage, but we're like lots of other folks who must watch their money 'outgo' as not much 'income' is coming into our coffers.
When we see a few gas stations grouped close together, we've got our camera out and the snapping of the gas price signs begins. Sometimes we are amazed at the difference in the rising gas prices as we go from one area of Nashville to the other.
It always seems to be a higher gas price when we are near one of the many interstate on or off ramps in the area, with the lower gas prices being 'off the beaten path' and we know now to get away from the interstate exit or entrance before we fill up our gas tank.
