I recently attended the 44th Bouchercon convention. This is the world’s leading convention for crime fiction readers, writers and others. I was fortunate to be on a panel with five other reviewers. Each of us were asked to provide the name of one mystery/crime fiction book prior to 1995 that helped us to become a lifelong reader.
The Panelist included:
Lynn Farris - National Mystery Book Reviewer for Examiner
Jordan Foster - freelance writer for Publishers Weekly
Joseph Richard Meyers - covers Entertainment for the Connecticut Post, a Hearst Corporation.
Gerald So -writes for his blog, My Life Called So
Kristopher Zgorsk - writes for his blog, BOLO Books
I’d like to share in the photo list the books that we named as our inspiration to become a lifelong reader. These are all excellent books to read.
