Les Miserables is a French historical fiction novel by Victor Hugo.  It was originally published in 1862.  The novel is based in the early 1800s from 1815 to 1832 and mainly follows the experiences of an ex-convict named Jean Valjean.  The book was recently made into a musical film starring Anne Hathaway.Deadly Stakes: A Novel by J.A. Mousetronaut: Based on a (Partially) True Story by Mark Kelly and illustrated by C. F. Payne.  This book tells a story of visiting space from the perspective of a mouse.  It is partially based on the true story of mice traveling to outer space with Mark Kelly on Endeavor in 2001.
