Mom with newborns and older infants need connections with other moms for several reasons. Connections with moms who have similar interests are important for the well-being of a new mom. Discussions about topics of interest bring new ideas for parenting if one is a first-time parent, and new ideas can also be great for parents with several children. After all, no two children are alike. There is a wealth of new information out there for new moms with topics from everything from diapers to baby activities for early learning.
Sarasota has many organizations that provide great connections for new moms. The month of April is coming soon with new workshops for new moms. Topics will cover immunizations, communication with your newborn, and fun activities for active infants. Check out the organizations in the List this week for upcoming events for new moms. Friendships can also be a benefit from participating in some workshops for the coming month.
Play and resources are all a part of these upcoming workshops and fun with other moms.
