We are just over a week into the 2014 MLB season. So far it seems we have some parody as every MLB squad has at least three wins thus far. Below are my first MLB power rankings, topped by the Washington Nationals, followed by the Milwaukee Brewers and our Detroit Tigers.

The Milwaukee Brewers are in first place in the National League Central, one game ahead of the Pittsburgh Pirates. The Brewers have won five in a row.

The Washington Nationals are atop the National League East with a solid 6-2 record, that's one game better than the Atlanta Braves. The Nats have won three in a row.

The Detroit Tigers are 5-2 thus far in the 2014 MLB season, which puts them in first place in the American League Central, one game ahead of the Cleveland Indians.

The Los Angeles Dodgers find themselves in second place in the National League West, a half game behind the San Francisco Giants. The Dodgers are 4-1 on the road.
