The top eight women at the BNP Paribas Open had some time before they played and the media took advantage. On Wednesday the ladies took part in an all access media day.
The top seeds received byes into the second round so they had a chance to meet with the media in an interview room and around the scenic Indian Wells facility.
Vitoria Azarenka, Maria Sharapova, Agnieszka Radwanska, Angelique Kerber, Petra Kvitova, Sara Errani, Sam Stosur and Caroline Wozniacki make up the top eight seeds for the tournament.
As one of the most attended tennis tournaments in the world, the BNP Paribas Open is held the Indian Wells Tennis Garden in California. The main feature is an over 16,000 seat stadium, the second largest tennis venue in the world.
The Indian Wells event was the first ATP/WTA combined tournament to award $1 million prize money to each of the singles champions in 2012.
