May 9 & 10:  Enjoy a night of calm exercise under the stars by canoeing at CLAS ropes course.  If you bring eight or more people, the cost is only $15 per person.  Otherwise, it's $39 per person or you can rent the Voyager canoe ($168) and fit up to 20 people.  No matter what, you'll get to enjoy the beautiful moonlight while your oars glide quietly through the calm waters of Utah Lake.  Exercise AND serenity--you can't get better than that!  Contact CLAS for more information.

May 16:  Join the Bike Bonanza at the Gallivan Center (239 S. Main Street, SLC) free of charge.  Celebrate biking with the family and win bikes, accessories, helmets, t-shirts and more.  Get motivated to bike all summer long!  Call the Gallivan Center for more information.

Free Yoga Classes!  Get your exercise while meditating or conquering a new pose.  Every third Friday of each month, the Riverside branch of the SLC Public Library hosts free Yoga classes, while every fourth Monday, the Corinne and jack Sweet branches do the same.  Call the local library for times and information.

May 17: Be one of the first to participate in the new golf tournament sponsored by the Children Tumor Foundation.  The "End NF with Travis" golf tournament benefits children stricken by NF and costs $90 per person or $360 per team.  Check-in and breakfast begins at 7:00 a.m. at Corner Canyon High School in Draper.  Eighteen holes, cart, balls, breakfast, snacks, raffle prizes, etc. are all included and it goes to a great cause!

May 24:  Color 5K.  Exercise and enjoy a colorful 5K around Thanksgiving Point gardens and business complex.  During your jog/walk, you'll pass spray and water stations and arrive at the finish line more colorful than you've ever imagined.  Register at TheColorBlast.com for $35 per person.  Race begins in front of the Xango building at the Thanksgiving business park.
