Max Fund April fundraisers

See also

Max Fund is Denver's premier no-kill animal shelter. For more than 20 years, Max Fund has been taking in homeless animals and finding them loving forever homes.

Max Fund is a non-profit organization. In addition to no-kill shelters, they provide low-cost veterinary care for pets. Naturally, such venues cannot operate on love alone.

The shelter has a series of fundraising events scheduled for April. This includes the grand opening of their no-kill dog shelter, pet photos with a renowned photographer, and ticket sales for live performances.

In addition to monetary donations, Max Fund is always in need of volunteers. Volunteers go through an application process as well as orientation. That done, though, they can participate in numerous opportunities:

  • socializing and petting cats
  • walking dogs
  • dog training
  • bathing and grooming animals
  • providing foster homes for animals with special needs
