March fun at Audubon Acres, Chickamauga Battlefield and more

March is a busy month for Chattanooga’s historical places. With celebrating St. Patrick’s Day, Easter and Women’s History Month, there are plenty of fun and educational things for the whole family to do this month. Below is a quick synopsis of a few of the historical places with special events during March.

Audubon Acres has a few classes planned plus a music festival and a special tour of Enterprise South Nature Park. The Chattanooga Chickamauga National Military Park is honoring women in the Civil War with a couple interpretive tours around the Chickamauga Battlefield. Atop Lookout Mountain, historic Rock City is turning green in honor of St. Patrick’s Day. Finally, the Tennessee River is providing the perfect spot for an Easter Celebration aboard the Southern Belle Riverboat.
