The mention of your name usually gets your attention. TV and internet news mention the name of others frequently. Facebook has a feature that allows you to mention another’s name in a post, and they are notified of it. You quickly know what others are saying in reference to you. Of course, you don’t always know when others are mentioning your name, but hopefully it is done with good intentions.
Paul, an apostle and servant of Jesus Christ, mentioned Philemon in prayer to God. Prayer is one of the most positive ways to mention someone’s name. Father God is able to notify you that your prayers have been heard for the recipient. The recipient may or may not know of your prayers, but they probably can tell a difference.
Challenge: Believer, allow the Holy Spirit lead you in mentioning as many names as possible during prayer time. Your prayers make noticeable impact for eternity.
