You probably know by now the many hidden calories, fat, and sugar content in salad dressings. If you do not, I encourage that you begin to seriously read the labels of what you are putting in your grocery cart!
What if you could make a delicious, healthy, fast, and full of protein dressing? I know, it does sound too good to be true. Once you make this, you will never purchase store bought dressing ever again! Especially the high fat Caesar Dressing, this dressing is amazing on Romaine Lettuce with a pasta dish. *Soy and Nut allergies do not consume
What you need: Hand Blender or Food Processor
*Ingredients: a non-GMO 12 oz Carton of Tofu (naturally gluten free) May also use plain yogurt
1 tsp Dry Mustard Powder
¼ cup sliced almonds
2 Tbls Olive Oil
2 Tbls Lemon Juice
1 tsp minced garlic
sea salt and pepper to taste
*Other items can include, minced olives, green onion, whatever your heart desires!
Puree Almonds, set aside.
Combine remaining ingredients in blender or processor and then combine with almonds.
A delicious dressing that you not only won't feel guilty about, but you can actually feel great about putting in your body.

Begin with a 1/4 cup of sliced almonds, they work best for hand blenders especially. After blending, set them aside.
If not blending yogurt or tofu immediately, place almonds in an air tight container.
After blending almonds, set them aside. Blend tofu, or yogurt, with a hand blender or food processor, add remaining ingredients of your choice.
When complete, mix tofu/yogurt blend with the almonds.
Healthy Salad Dressing
After mixing ingredients together, serve immediately or chilled, with your choice of garnish. Chives/Green Onions, olives, Parsley, etc.
This dressing makes an excellent dip for chips, veggies, or crackers.
Also use on tortillas, sandwich, and other meals.
