All you need for this craft is: cotton t-shirts (blank), fabric markers and paper or cardboard. We chose fabric markers that allowed us to color on colored t-shirts so we didn't have to only give Daddy white shirts.
Prepare the work area by putting thick paper or cardboard inside the shirt so the marker doesn't bleed through to the other side. Instruct your child to only draw where there is cardboard.
My son wanted to draw Daddy a road map on the back of the t-shirt so he can drive his cars on it and give him a massage. I had to help him draw the road and he filled in the sky and buildings.
My daughter wanted to make Daddy a shirt he can wear outside to mow. She was given free reign over the entire shirt and filled it in with her own pictures.
My other daughter wanted to make Daddy a shirt he could wear at work on dress down days. It's his work shirt and has a computer drawn on the back.
The important thing to remember is to let your child draw whatever they want. Once completed, be sure to following the washing directions from the marker packaging.
Daddy will love these t-shirts!
