This week: what on earth happened to Jeff?
It's hard to imagine how such an unusual looking dog could just go missing without a trace, but that seems to be what happened to Jeff. Jeff is a male bassett hound / bulldog mix. He went missing in Columbus / Franklin County on August 16, 2013. He is a short, and very unique looking guy. He weighs about 45 lbs, brindle, bulldog head, long body, and was just under a year old when he was lost. His left front foot is deformed at the ankle.
Jeff broke out of the back gate of his home on the north side of OSU campus. He was last seen between 12th and 17th near Indianola, shortly after he escaped, but he hasn't been seen since. He's pretty skittish around people so trying to catch him might scare him away.
Do you know someone who acquired a dog who looks like Jeff over the past year? Maybe a friend who took in a stray, or adopted a dog from a Columbus area shelter?
If you know what happened to Jeff or where he is, please contact Lost & Found Ohio Pets, or call 312-953-5448.
