Everybody probably likes to say that their town or city is the best place to celebrate the holidays and Philly residents are no exception, but in this case it happens to be true. Unlike cities with big crowds and big prices such as New York, Los Angeles and Miami you don’t have to be rich to have a good time in Philly. If nothing else this city is notorious for having a lot of free activities going on pretty much every week of the year.

Philly is a city that likes to celebrate the everyday family, the regular guy, because too often this city is an irregular.

Throughout the year Philly endures being placed on this list or that list for the best or the worst and they take it in stride just like they take in stride the time Eagles fans pelted Santa with snowballs, but this time Philly won’t have to take any cheap shots from bitter journalists that get stuck with a rotten assignment; a fluff piece.
