The Argentinian pianist Leonardo Genovese performed on August 21, 2013 at SubCulture (45 Bleecker Street) in celebration of his new album release 'Seeds'.
"Stop thinking and start feeling", Genovese declared to all his attending fans. During an hour long performance, Genovese's performance included electronic, acoustic keyboards, on stage painting session, drums, pianos, trumpet solos and even little theater with the help of a playful skeleton.
His performance included playing along side three time Grammy Award winner Esperanza Spalding. The American cellist, singer, jazz bassist Spalding, became the first and only Jazz artist to win Best New Artist at the 53rd Grammy Awards in 2011.
