Latest video gaming news from Tuesday, Feb 5, 2013

A lot of interesting news broke on Tuesday, a day that was dominated by the release of “Dead Space 3”. Presented here is by no means all of the gaming news that broke on Tuesday, simply some of the most interesting.

First up is one that is sure to anger a lot of fans. According to Deadline, Paul Walker has been cast as Agent 47 in a reboot of the “Hitman” movie based on the games of the same name. This will anger some, as many felt that the first movie was well done, and perfectly cast with Timothy Olyphant as the man with the barcode on the back of his head. Even most of the fans that hated the first movie would agree that the role of Agent 47 should go to a better actor than Paul Walker. This just seems like it’s a way for Fox to cash in on Walker’s popularity with the “Fast and Furious” movies.
