Know your cheese doodles

 There are three basic shapes of cheese doodles. The crunchy, puffed cheesy ball is the third. Sized to fit in the mouth comfortably, the shape lends itself to being held on the tongue as the cheesy goodness melts away. For a change of pace , try cheese doodle balls at your next party.  The evil twin of the baked cheese doodle is its even crunchier fried  version. Denser because the cheesy corn dough collapses and condenses in hot oil, crunchy cheese doodles have more tooth and in the opinion of some snack-food mavens more flavor.
