Ladies, football season is back!
For those women who are married to the guys who has been waiting for the start of football season you have an idea of what you are in for. If your husband is fortunate to have every sports channel under the sun then you know what this means, he will be glued to the flat screen.
In order for you to keep the romance alive during what will be yet another exciting season in the NFL here are a few tips to help you out.
One thing you can do is leave him alone during the game. Don't try to ask him questions or talk to him while the game is on. All you will get is a quick answer like, "Okay. I'll take care of it" to silence you.
Something nice you can do is to make sure he has plenty of snacks to keep him going. Since you know what he likes it should be no problem for you to make this happen. He would really appreciate it.
Since the noise factor will more than likely be through the roof if you're not interested in hearing the grumbles, groans and cheering make plans to leave the house or find a place where the noise won't bother you. This way everyone is happy.
If you have children find a way to keep them occupied so they will leave him alone. This could be a great time to take them to the park or to a play center to let go of some energy.
Last but not least, you know your husband and how he is about football. Don't get mad at him for being excited about watching the game.
In the end he will remember how much time you allotted for him to just be a guy. As a result he will in turn do something nice and make some special time for you. All you have to do is remind him just in case he forgets.
