Historic Columbia Foundation is looking for volunteers willing to donate six or more hours a month toward the Foundation’s mission to nurture, support and protect the historical and cultural heritage of Columbia and Richland County.
New Volunteer Training kicks off at 10 am on Monday,September 9. Training consists of five 90-minute sessions over the course of two months. Attendees will learn about the organization, their historic house museums and gardens plus the history of Columbia and Richland County. The location of the training will change weekly.Click here for the schedule.
Last year, HCF's volunteer corps provided more than 11,000 hours of service, a value of $243,540. “Our volunteers are a vital part of Historic Columbia, and they are the ones who make it possible to accomplish our goals year after year,” said Ann Posner, HCF’s volunteer manager.

- A free subscription to Historically Speaking, Historic Columbia Foundation’s quarterly newsletter,
- The opportunity to tour and visit other historic sites during monthly volunteer meetings and presentations.
