Yesterday according to THE BLADE Vice President Joe Biden gave a speech about the future of the American auto industry at the 2014 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS). The 2014 NAIAS is being held at Detroit's Cobo Arena, and it is open to the public on January 18th, and ends January 26th. U.S. Vice President Joe Biden and Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan stood on stage before the Vice President gave his speech. He referenced the $80-billion assistance to Chrysler and General Motors in 2009 helped save the industry and created more than 380,000 jobs.
