J.Crew rolls out new David Sheldrick Collection just in time for fall

J.Crew’s latest Fall arrivals hit their website today along with the new David Sheldrick collection, which has been expanded to include offerings for the whole family including Mens, Womens and Crewcuts.

Because of popular demand, J.Crew has once again partnered with the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust and Brooklyn-based illustrator, Hugo Guinness, to design cozy sweatshirts and t-shirts. All pieces feature Hugo’s exclusive Elephant design with 100% of all net proceeds donated to the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust.The entire collection will also be available in stores tomorrow.

Founded in 1977, the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust rescues and protects orphaned elephants and rhinos in East Africa from ivory poaching and extinction. To date, they've successfully rescued, hand raised and rehabilitated over 150 elephant orphans before reintegrating them back into the wild.

In their honor, J. Crew has teamed up with Brooklyn-based artist Hugo Guinness to create this limited-edition sweatshirt, featuring an illustration of our friend Bongo the elephant.

An energetic four-year-old, Bongo was rescued by DSWT last September and enjoys grazing in fields and taking mud baths. One hundred percent of the net proceeds from the sale of this sweatshirt will be donated to the trust.
