Glue 4 small pom-poms on the biscuit to be the feet of the dog (figure 3). Two pom-poms for the front paws and two pom-poms for the back paws. Glue on wiggle eyes. Place 2 - 1/4 to 1/2 inch pom-poms side by side just below the eyes. Glue on a red seed bead for the nose (figure 2).Using scissors cut 2 ear shapes out of a piece of felt. February 23rd is International Dog Biscuit Appreciation Day. This is a day where pet owners celebrate their dogs by giving them dog biscuit treats. Many families have dogs as pets. A fun way to spend the day with your child is by making a biscuit dog craft. With a few materials you can make a cute craft to commemorate the day.

  • Dog Biscuit
  • Felt
  • Wiggle Eyes
  • Glue
  • Pom-Poms
  • Red Bead

  • Using scissors cut 2 ear shapes out of a piece of felt. Glue the felt ears onto the dog biscuit on the ends, the dog biscuit should be vertical (figure 1).
  •  Glue on wiggle eyes. Place 2 - 1/4 to 1/2 inch pom-poms side by side just below the eyes. Glue on a red seed bead for the nose (figure 2).
  • Glue 4 small pom-poms on the biscuit to be the feet of the dog (figure 3). Two pom-poms for the front paws and two pom-poms for the back paws.
  •  Some optional finishing touches:you can add a collar and dog tag using scrap pieces of felt. Also you can glue a magnet strip to the back, to turn your craft into a magnet. As seen in figure 4.
