It's a fiesta! Pazo's made a party of their casual wine dinners

Baltimore's Pazo has turned wine tasting into a party! The Spanish cuisine restaurant in Harbor East has begun a series of special wine dinners . . . but instead of the traditional formal, sit-down experience, facing a barrage of glasses in front of you, they've taken the starch out of it. I'm glad I was hosted to experience it.

To go to future ones, here's what you need to know:

March 21st

April 18th

TIME: 6:00 PM

WHERE: PAZO

1425 Aliceanna Street

Baltimore, Maryland 21231

PRICE: $59 per person (inclusive of all food, wine, tax and gratuity)

CALL (410) 534-7296 for reservations

The inside of Pazo has a high vaulted ceiling and a Medieval Spanish castle's dining hall look to it. Because of its historic look, it's more rustic to our modern eyes. On the second floor of the restaurant's setup is the wine fiesta, private without being shuttered in some "private dining room". You can still look out over the balcony to see the diners below, as well as the open kitchen.
