I recently spoke with Jim Pinto of Post World Games and James Glover of 1000mg Games about Jim's recent Kickstarter in which he produced six games in six months. It included at least 350 pages of games covering multiple genres: sci-fi (Dying Memoryes), post-apocalyptic (George's Children), creepy small town (Forget Me Not), witches (The Witch), vikings (Death of Ulfstater), and samurai (Monogatari). He's also produced two more successful Kickstarters: Toolcards (easy-to-use cards that inspire the GM to run fast, exciting adventures) and Solomon's Guild (an open-ended fantasy sourcebook of criminals and thieves centered around a criminal guild).
Michael Tresca (MT): Tell us about Post World Games.
Jim Pinto (JP): Post World Games is my foray into self-publishing a number of pride products, as well as helpful GM tools. James Glover can write this better than I can.
James Glover (JG): Jim pinto is my mentor and helped me start my own game design studio, 1000mg Games. I've had the pleasure to work with him on a few products. I'll be glad to tell you a bit about them.
See the pictures for more information about the Kickstarters.
