In an exclusive interview with Examiner's correspondents Kimberly Phan and Peshean Zhang, Hardwell discussed his future career plans, the top artist he would love to work with in the future, his upcoming North American tour, who his role model is and what makes his record label Revealed Recordings different than other labels around.

"What makes the ‘I Am Hardwell’ tour different than some of my other shows is that they are much more intimate where the fans can really feel my music for a full 3 hours. This is not just a music set, it’s a full live concert that illustrates my whole journey in the past four years," Hardwell says. His mind-blowing visual designs drafted for the audience are different for every single show. Electrified to play in the city that never sleeps and at what he proclaims is the world’s best venue, Madison Square Garden, Hardwell wanted to wrap up the tour with a bang in New York City.

After his final date in Madison Square Garden, he's planning to continue to work more on his productions at his label Revealed Recordings and to release his own full debut album. His label focuses, "on music he believes in and that is dance music. Revealed Recordings are not like major labels because major labels won’t push dance music because it is not commercial enough or doesn't contain vocals. He doesn't aim for the radio charts but aims for the love of music," he says.

Hardwell talked about his love for music and passion for being a DJ rooting over a decade ago. As a young teenager, he built a fan base from his friends and class-mates while DJing at local school parties. His role model was none other than fellow Dutch disc jockey, producer and musician Tiesto.

When asked if Hardwell had a particular artist he would love to work with together in the near future, he admirably said Pharrell Williams. "He's such a talented singer, producer and artist."
